From Jim at Kreutz Creek:
It’s official, the holidays are over and it’s time to start pruning and preparing for “Barrels on the Brandywine”. Over the next week we will be releasing a new style of wine. It’s our 2006 Stainless Steel Aged Chardonnay. The characteristics boast a great pineapple taste with a hint of citric flavors and a terrific crisp finish.
It’s also time to start bottling our 2006 Cabernet Franc because we’re just about out of the 2005 vintage. I guess that’s a good sign. I know many of you are missing the Red Raspberry since we recently sold out. Have no fear….. I am planning to bottle that in time for Valentine’s Day.
Since the Kordeaux vertical barrel tasting was so popular last year, I’m planning that again for this year’s “Barrels on the Brandywine”. We’ll be tasting and comparing the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 vintages of Kordeaux. Don’t forget “Barrels on the Brandywine” will be every weekend in March. Tickets will soon be on sale and again are only $25 each. It should be a good one!
Cheers,
Jim
