Here’s the dish on Bam’s plans for opening a theatre in West Chester.

He counts himself as one of the main draws to West Chester? That’s a little ridiculous. And it seems like the only reason he wants to do this is to “own a piece of West Chester.” It all seems a tad egotistical to me.

I cannot fault Mr. Margera for wanting to open his theater in the charming town of West Chester, but his choice of location seems poorly planned. As a homeowner on the residential street behind the future site of the theater, I cannot see how it will do anything other than take away from the quality of life for the people whose homes surround it.
The area already struggles with noise, parking and litter. I read that the building is being designed to hold as many as 400 people. Without doubt, the employees and patrons of this establishment will park on and walk through the surrounding residential streets which will increase noise, liter and crime while decreasing the amount of parking available to residents—many of whom who do not have off-street parking.
I’m going to continue to fight the development of this site. I realize that it will most likely happen anyway, but Mr. Margera and the council should know that they may expect to hear from me if my neighborhood and home are jeopardized as a result.
