Great burgers + boardwalk quality fries + amazing chicken sandwiches + thick milkshakes = Buddy’s.

Quick, tasty and right in the borough. They have a lot of seating so bring some friends.

For a full menu click on the website link to the right.

WC Dish Recommends: A small burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, a bit of mayo and ketchup. Fries with old bay AND parmesan cheese! Oh yeah and the milkshakes.

I convinced my husband to go here last week instead of 5 guys based solely on the reviews here. We were SO disappointed! Dry burgers, cheap on the meat, limp fries, fake tasting milkshake. No comparison to 5 guys at all (they have the juiciest burgers). I am so shocked at all the good reviews.

my first visit…7-10-08….incredible….no longer will I trudge to glen mills for a 5 guys burger…Buddy’s has sold me…I was a longtime 5 guys burger guy all the way from Va where I had them years earlier…no mas…Buddy’s is now my burger home….I shall be loyal

They are yummy! It’s hard when I want to be good and walk in to get a salad and can smell those fries cooking. I do have to say that if I am really in a burger and fry mood I will travel the extra 10 minutes and go to Cheeburger Cheeburger though, theirs are much bigger!

It is good.. Real good. Good tasting burgers, made fresh at a good price. Let’s be honest though, its not In&Out Burgers Good (the all time best in my book), or 5 guys good (2nd, and best “east coast chain”) but a great burger at a great price. I think the main problem is the building, not a great building for burger joint. The really need outside seating…

Clean and spacious, wide variety of toppings to choose from (avocado!). Price is right for what you get. Unfortunately, every time I stroll by it looks so empty in there. =(

What can I say besides wonderful. Great service and great food. Lot’s of choices at very reasonable prices. Very clean on top of it. My son’s new favorite place to eat. A++++

We ordered lunch from Buddy’s 3 Buddy burgers two with mozz and one with provlone with the works. The burger meat was good it had a great texture and was juicy. The chicken sandwich was a little salty and a little greasy but the toppings were plentiful. The fries were good similar to boardwalk fries. We will order again. Thanks for a good meal.

Awesome- I’m not sure if these GREAT burgers are a blessing or a curse. They are that good. I had one for lunch, and I’m on my way there for Dinner. Open Late, Great!!! Can you say Midnight snack? I think I’ll go light for the late night. Hold the Mayo from the Bacon Buddy with Cheese. I hope my cardiologist doesn’t see this review… The FRIES “Don’t Get Me Started”…..Food this good should be Illegal. I’m addicted for life. Hope Buddy’s can stay around that long….Actually if I keep eating there, They will :-)

At first I thought this would be West Chester’s answer to Five Guys. I was wrong. It’s BETTER than Five Guys!

The burgers are better and not as greasy. The fries are freshly cooked and are amazing!

The service is fast and friendly. The staff seems proud of their food.

Plus, they’re open LATE so stop off after a long night out.

Welcome to West Chester, Buddy’s! We’ve been waiting for a place like you.

I had a junior buddy bacon cheddar burger and fries for lunch a couple weeks ago. The burger was great, juicy and the fries were just like down the shore, but actually better! I loved it. They have a myriad of toppings like avocado! Def. check this place out for a quick, greasy bite.

Comment Guidelines
Be Respectful. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Although the old saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," is swell, we encourage constructive feedback (ie, be polite), and recommend backing-up your comments with evidence/witnesses.

Be Honest. Look where it got Abe Lincoln. Well, before the evening at the theater.

We don't recommend complaining just for the sake of it (see number 1), but if you have a legitimate comment, it should be shared. Also, don't hesitate to disagree with other comments, even if your opinion is in the minority. If patrons aren't honest about their experiences, restaurants won't know that there is room for improvement. And there always is.

Be Specific. "The food was good" doesn't cut it.

Each dining experience is unique, so if a dining experience moves you in any way, by all means, share the details. Choose the sensory details that impacted your experience the most and describe them in your postings. Other foodies will gobble it up—literally.

Be Concise. 'Nuf said.

What? We thought it was pretty clear the first time.

Be Helpful. Sort of like how the elves and reindeer help Santa.

Will what you have to say improve the restaurant's ability to provide impeccable service and improve the dining experience for others (again, see number 1)? If so... help away.

Show a Little Pride. No Jane or John Does please.

If you are too embarrassed to put your name as the commenter, you probably should re-evaluate your comments (you know the drill... see number 1). If you have sensitive information that you feel needs to be passed along, please use your best judgment and e-mail it to us to avoid public posting. We don't want you to have any post-post regrets.

Don't Name Names. Let's not get too personal here.

We know you want to share your experiences, both good and bad, but this isn't the place to publicly condemn or praise individual people. Feel free to comment on "the service", "the chef", or "the staff", but any positive or negative mention of specific names will be moderated.
