We have folks bringing in dinner they made themselves, carry out from local restaurants, food prepared by Carlinos and Lemoncello’s delivers to our store. As you all know, we have music every Friday and Saturday from 6-9. You can also see below the talent is tremendous.

Community Foundation’s “Giving for Good” Gala - A SUCCESS!
June 28th, 2008 No CommentsOn Saturday June 14th over 250 Chester County philanthropists came together to celebrate giving at the Community Foundation?s aptly named ?Giving for Good? Gala. The gala paid tribute to the Community Foundation?s outgoing chair of the board Madeleine Wing Adler, PhD. of West Chester (retired President of West Chester University) and incoming board chair Louis N. Teti, Esq. of Downingtown (of the law firm MacElree Harvey).
The gala was co-chaired by John and Wiggie Featherman of West Chester (Mr. Featherman is CEO of 1st National Bank of Chester County). Carol Ware Gates, Ph.D. of Christiana and Oxford was the honorary gala chair. Robert and Diane Roskamp hosted the gala at their beautiful historic home, Thomas Mill Farm, in Newtown Square.

Guillermo Tellez and Rob Boone, veterans of Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago and the top hands in Striped Bass’ kitchen at the end of its run, have surfaced in Chester County after buying the old Northbrook Orchards and installing a market/cafe. Their wives, Christine Boone and Leslie Tellez, work with them.Northbrook MarketPlace (1805 Unionville-Wawaset Road, West Chester, 610-793-1210) is set up in a two-story space in an old barn. They’ve kept Northbrook’s familiar farm stuff and added a smokehouse for barbecue as well as a moderate-priced regional American menu. They serve lunch seven days a week and dinner every night except for Sunday. There’s prepared food available to go, and doors …
