  • I brought the new pup into the station for the radio show and JT LOVED him. He loved him so much he sang very high pitched notes to him. Not sure if Waffles (or I) liked it but JT was into it. So cute. Both of em.

  • Well I’m back. No, I wasn’t really on vacation for this long, but I did have a fantastic vacation and was in desperate need of a mental break. I’ve had so much going on lately that I haven’t had enough time to sit down and tell you about ALL the exciting food happenings in the area.

  • I’ve got so much to fill you all in on but guess what? It’s vacation time!


  • Ho, Ho, Ho, it’s Victory Brewing Company’s “Christmas in July” and it will kickoff on Monday, July 28th.

  • Buy Fresh Buy Local (BFBL) Week is an annual celebration of the availability, unparalleled freshness, and economic and environmental benefits of food grown within 150 miles from farm to plate.

  • A chef near my hometown was recently honored with the first-ever Governor’s Award for Culinary Arts.

  • Here are a few snapshots (sorry they’re from my camera phone) from my recent trip to San Diego. I was there for event work but was lucky enough to enjoy the food. They are in no particular order.

  • Age 28 has finally arrived. I’m officially out of the “mid-twenties” and have been swept into my “late-twenties”. I’m not gonna lie…I don’t like it very much. But, the good news is that I had a fantastic birthday dinner to usher in my 28th year.

  • On Friday’s radio show I arrived wearing a tiara and announced on the air that I was excited to kick off my birthday weekend.

    The morning after my family birthday dinner was the icing on the cake (no pun intended). My mom made brunch. This is always incredible.
