He twirled us around as he poured to quiz us on the differences between reserves, recent year vintages and various cask materials. -
On one scenic overlook I stop to take a video clip and patty decides to use the Port O’ Potty.

It’s warm enough at 8:30am to have the windows down and I contemplate never leaving… even before tasting the breakfast. -

We pull into the main street, park and I fall in love with the first two places I see. A place called 99 Bottles of Beer catches my attention so we stop in for a quick drink. -
It’s 6:45am and I’m sitting at Gate B9 watching travelers from a red-eye arrive in Philly as we wait to replace their seats. -
I’ve needed a break for awhile. Juggling a full-time job, WC Dish, a social life, avoiding a dating life (ugh), Rotaract and two dogs has left me exhausted. So when my college roommate invited me to visit her in Monterey, CA I booked a flight immediately. -
And then, the sound of porcelain settling on my picnic table
brings me back to the present….my food and wine has arrived…it’s
Swedish meatballs, the renowned specialty at this distinctly Swedish
winery. -
