Stop by for authentic cajun cuisine. Owner Rob Trabbold uses quality ingredients (purchased fresh from local businesses) to create an extensive menu featuring a variety of authentic cajun seafood dishes, blackened shrimp, chicken, filet and alligator, authentic jambalaya, spicy andouille sausage, and much more. If you can’t handle all that food and just need a light bite check out the bar menu.

WC Dish recommends: Po boys and the “wild” selection of meats… like alligator.

This has to be the worst place ever for food..My wife, and 2 friends all got food poisoning from crawdadys, Anybody that writes anything good about the food here must work there, lol or they really don’t have any Idea what great food is, Now High Street Caffe well they are I think the Best Resaurant around WC for Cajun Creole food. They know how to rock it out period…..

This is the best cajun food around. My husband and I greatly prefer this spot to the High Street Cafe. The etouffee and the voodoo crawfish are to die for!

Just got back from the place. I had the coconut shrimp appetizer. Quite tasty but overcooked. For our entrees, I had the blackened crab cakes and my girlfriend had the Jack Daniels Fillet. I am a huge crab cake fan and these were probably the worst I’ve had at any restaurant. The crab meat had no flavor and I doubt they were Maryland crabs. My girlfriend’s Fillet wasn’t cooked right. There was no hint of Jack and it tasted like it was marinated in an ashtray. It was very busy so the service wasn’t that great. I’d rate that a C. Nice place and all but I won’t be going back any time soon.

I like the atmosphere, very cool looking place. Hadn’t had too much food from there but from what I have tried, it was good. can’t really give it a grade yet overall as I haven’t really sat down and had a proper meal there. But will come back and let you know when I do. Incomplete.

I agree with Lisa below. I went for lunch and $10 of my bill was for diet coke (which you need a lot of if you order the Voodoo Crawfish). To charge almost $2 for each and every soda is a bit ridiculous.

I have been a regular at Crawdaddy’s for years. This is easily the most friendly, comfortable bar in the area. Great atmosphere and GREAT food. Try the blackened anything, you won’t be sorry!

Went the other night on the reviews we saw here. I had the crawfish bisque (very creamy) and voodoo shrimp. Both very good, but holy crap is the voodoo hot . . . it had great sweet/hot flavor served with sour cream . . . probably to help cut the heat . . . but I couldn’t finish it . . . I thought my stomach might catch fire :) My husband had a steak–it was done as requested and tasty. We will go back–at least for more bisque (and maybe some voodoo too).

Stay in one place for a while. I started off with you on Rts. 322 abd 10 in Honeybrook Pa. You had good food even then but a really bad location for that type of food. Is there such a thing as Cajun Shoo-fly-pie?

Great food - went for lunch today and ordered the blackened catfish po-boy. It was melt in your mouth delicious.
The room with the fireplace was wonderful and a nice touch on such a cold and blustery day. Will definitely go back again.
Service was very attentive and friendly.

Very good Cajun food–a fan since the Bradford Ave. days…

This place is the real deal. I found it first when it was in that little building on Bradford (52). Even then, they had a commitment to quality–wouldn’t even serve lunch (according to the waitress) because he couldn’t do it to his standards. Try the mustard catfish or the crawfish etouffee! And leave room for dessert–esp the bread pudding and the pecan pie, with chicory coffee. Real New Orleans treats.

The food is great but they charge you extra for every little thing. Refills on soda, extra honey mustard, steak sauce. The place is not cheap to begin with so it’s just ridiculous to charge for that kind of stuff!!

Great cajun food. We love the voodoo crawfish and anything blackened, especially the shrimp. I am addicted to the crawfish bisque. We’ve been there many times. I remember when they had the take-out place in West Chester and when they had the little place, I think on Rt. 52. We plan to go back again and again.

My favorite “let’s go gorge ourselves with food” spot. The yummiest cajun around. I go ga-ga for the mustard-crusted fried catfish and any etouffe on the menu.

Great atmosphere, great bar and great food. You have to try the blackened aligator and the frog legs.

Review Guidelines
Be Respectful. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Although the old saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," is swell, we encourage constructive feedback (ie, be polite), and recommend backing-up your comments with evidence/witnesses.

Be Honest. Look where it got Abe Lincoln. Well, before the evening at the theater.

We don't recommend complaining just for the sake of it (see number 1), but if you have a legitimate comment, it should be shared. Also, don't hesitate to disagree with other comments, even if your opinion is in the minority. If patrons aren't honest about their experiences, restaurants won't know that there is room for improvement. And there always is.

Be Specific. "The food was good" doesn't cut it.

Each dining experience is unique, so if a dining experience moves you in any way, by all means, share the details. Choose the sensory details that impacted your experience the most and describe them in your postings. Other foodies will gobble it up—literally.

Be Concise. 'Nuf said.

What? We thought it was pretty clear the first time.

Be Helpful. Sort of like how the elves and reindeer help Santa.

Will what you have to say improve the restaurant's ability to provide impeccable service and improve the dining experience for others (again, see number 1)? If so... help away.

Show a Little Pride. No Jane or John Does please.

If you are too embarrassed to put your name as the commenter, you probably should re-evaluate your comments (you know the drill... see number 1). If you have sensitive information that you feel needs to be passed along, please use your best judgment and e-mail it to us to avoid public posting. We don't want you to have any post-post regrets.

Don't Name Names. Let's not get too personal here.

We know you want to share your experiences, both good and bad, but this isn't the place to publicly condemn or praise individual people. Feel free to comment on "the service", "the chef", or "the staff", but any positive or negative mention of specific names will be moderated.
