My boyfriend and I went there for dinner last night. He was really excited to try their veal chop, because not many places offer it. We were very disappointed from the start. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was way too chewy. The veal chop was ordered medium rare and was served well done. I ordered meatballs and they were raw in the middle! We are the type of people who don’t like to complain, but this time we did. We mentioned to the bus boy and our server that we were not satisfied with our meal. They did not act like they cared at all! There was no offer to remake anything for us or to take anything off of the bill. We will not be back!!!

Great family spot. Tomato focacia is awesome. Staff is very friendly. The best spaghetti and meatballs we’ve found in town!

Had family over on Friday March 7 and decided to order 3 pizza’s. These were the most disappointing pies we ever had. Called and asked to order a pickup and specifically asked they be well done..Didn’t bother to look in the boxes and turned out to be almost raw crust. Actually threw 1 away. They also had the nerve to charge us $1.00 per pie for well done. We won’t be calling again. Could get a better pie at Domino’s. Don’t waste your time.

I’ve never been so cold in my life. Had to wear my heavy coat the entire dinner. Food was good. Service was OK. Something about the whole experience was just a little “off.” I may go back.

Went there last night. I had the “lemon chicken”; it had lots of great lemon flavor and lots of capers–I thought it was very delicious. My husband had the lobster ravioli which came with a very good yet rich sauce, and he also enjoyed his meal. I’d like to try their pizza as I saw a lot of folks taking out for that. Only problem was we were by the window and they were having heat problems so it was a little cold, but a glass of red wine helped solve that problem.

The food is fantastic! I love their tomato pie that is served as soon as you sit down. I have never had a bad meal there.

Review Guidelines
Be Respectful. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Although the old saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," is swell, we encourage constructive feedback (ie, be polite), and recommend backing-up your comments with evidence/witnesses.

Be Honest. Look where it got Abe Lincoln. Well, before the evening at the theater.

We don't recommend complaining just for the sake of it (see number 1), but if you have a legitimate comment, it should be shared. Also, don't hesitate to disagree with other comments, even if your opinion is in the minority. If patrons aren't honest about their experiences, restaurants won't know that there is room for improvement. And there always is.

Be Specific. "The food was good" doesn't cut it.

Each dining experience is unique, so if a dining experience moves you in any way, by all means, share the details. Choose the sensory details that impacted your experience the most and describe them in your postings. Other foodies will gobble it up—literally.

Be Concise. 'Nuf said.

What? We thought it was pretty clear the first time.

Be Helpful. Sort of like how the elves and reindeer help Santa.

Will what you have to say improve the restaurant's ability to provide impeccable service and improve the dining experience for others (again, see number 1)? If so... help away.

Show a Little Pride. No Jane or John Does please.

If you are too embarrassed to put your name as the commenter, you probably should re-evaluate your comments (you know the drill... see number 1). If you have sensitive information that you feel needs to be passed along, please use your best judgment and e-mail it to us to avoid public posting. We don't want you to have any post-post regrets.

Don't Name Names. Let's not get too personal here.

We know you want to share your experiences, both good and bad, but this isn't the place to publicly condemn or praise individual people. Feel free to comment on "the service", "the chef", or "the staff", but any positive or negative mention of specific names will be moderated.
