West Chester Restaurants Yum!

Wave Noodle

dscf8953.jpgdscf8957.jpgdscf8958.jpgAt first glance you may not expect too much from this local gem but once you try the food you’ll never think twice again. Wave noodle is rumored to have the best Chinese and noodle dishes in the area. With a heavy Thai influence this popular spot serves up anything from the traditional General Tso’s to green curry or pad thai.

They are also open for delivery… and open late. So when the mood strikes you can fight back with some really, really yummy grub.

WC Dish recommends: The summer rolls, salt and pepper calamari, crispy beef, chicken pad thai and pineapple fried rice. Not all at once of course.

Wave is the best Chinese spot in West Chester. That’s not saying much, considering there is no good Chinese restaurant in West Chester proper.

I wouldn’t say “Chinese” but defiantly the best asian food in WC.

Everything you would need to fill the hunger of a family who is craving Asian. Where else can you get top notch Miso Soup, Steamed Dumplings, Pad Tai, Ginger Chicken, and Mussels..

Delivery is incredible. They say 40 min, and they are there in 10 min. The food is warm, and fresh. The Restaurant itself is not much to look at, but it is charming and family friendly. Once you sit down, the service is good, friendly, and prompt.

Food is so/so. Kinda overpriced. Very salty. Check out No.#1 instead.

Admittedly, it doesn’t look like much on the outside. There are no golden dragons or fancy zen gardens that you’ll find at some Asian restaurants. I’d driven by it hundreds of times and never even gave it a thought, until I read some of the reviews here.

When I finally tried it, I was happily impressed. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, and it was as good as I’ve had it at some of the finer Thai restaurants.

Parking’s doesn’t seem that convenient, but you can always park in the complex across the street.

Do yourself a favor: Check out Wave Noodle!

Wave Noodle a great place for Chinese/Thai food! They have the best pad thai around and for less than $7.00 you can have leftovers for the next day - their portion sizes are pretty generous!! Eating in or taking out - we have always had a great experience there!

The food is terrific. I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area for a while now. I also love Thai food, but didn’t think there were any places around that served it. Wave noodle is great. The prices are VERY reasonable and the staff is polite. The delivery service is quick too!

Wave Noodle is simple the only place in WC worth getting chinese food from. The sauces are so good! My favs are Chicken w/ Broccoli (sp?), General Tso’s, and Salt and Pepper shrimp. The staff there is great also.

Review Guidelines
Be Respectful. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Although the old saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," is swell, we encourage constructive feedback (ie, be polite), and recommend backing-up your comments with evidence/witnesses.

Be Honest. Look where it got Abe Lincoln. Well, before the evening at the theater.

We don't recommend complaining just for the sake of it (see number 1), but if you have a legitimate comment, it should be shared. Also, don't hesitate to disagree with other comments, even if your opinion is in the minority. If patrons aren't honest about their experiences, restaurants won't know that there is room for improvement. And there always is.

Be Specific. "The food was good" doesn't cut it.

Each dining experience is unique, so if a dining experience moves you in any way, by all means, share the details. Choose the sensory details that impacted your experience the most and describe them in your postings. Other foodies will gobble it up—literally.

Be Concise. 'Nuf said.

What? We thought it was pretty clear the first time.

Be Helpful. Sort of like how the elves and reindeer help Santa.

Will what you have to say improve the restaurant's ability to provide impeccable service and improve the dining experience for others (again, see number 1)? If so... help away.

Show a Little Pride. No Jane or John Does please.

If you are too embarrassed to put your name as the commenter, you probably should re-evaluate your comments (you know the drill... see number 1). If you have sensitive information that you feel needs to be passed along, please use your best judgment and e-mail it to us to avoid public posting. We don't want you to have any post-post regrets.

Don't Name Names. Let's not get too personal here.

We know you want to share your experiences, both good and bad, but this isn't the place to publicly condemn or praise individual people. Feel free to comment on "the service", "the chef", or "the staff", but any positive or negative mention of specific names will be moderated.
